Bommalaatam - A review

Bharathiraja has given yet another memorable movie for the tamil film industry. Nana Patekar plays the role of a movie director. While he shoots a film, three unexpected murders take place - first is of a village chief, second is of the movie hero and finally the film heroine. All these murders link back to Nana Patekar, the director.

Arjun plays the role of the detective and he takes in charge of the case. Nana Patekar's character has too many female fans which includes Arjun's girlfriend (played by Kajal Agarwal). Kajal joins Nana Patekar's crew as assistant director and after the murders take place, Arjun comes into investigate the case and that forms the rest of the story.

The movie is short and the climax is the biggest surprise in the movie. For some unknown reasons, the editing of the movie has not been done well and that is the major drawback of the movie. But Bharathiraja, the ace director, has made sure that the audiences are not bored with any scene. Newcomer Rukmani deserves a praise. Vivek's comedy clippings are very short and they are not impressive. Arjun doesn't have much role but he has done well.

This film is worth watching many times. Those who are fan of suspsense thriller genre should watch this movie.
